STANFORD AND LOS ANGELES

After the great success of Black & White's concert with the Stanford Catholic choir, Black & White went to the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress.  Frs. John Paul and Dominic took the mini-stage of the Torch3M booth each day of the conference and serenaded the crowds.  Lots of people stopped to soothe their tired ears and minds with Black & White's spirituals and chants.  They even did their show-stopping rendition of  "Me and My Shadow."

John Paul and Dominic enjoyed the attention, as always, but even more they were grateful for the chance to share their unique concert with new friends. Says John Paul, "It was a great witness that the Dominicans are involved in some interesting, rewarding, helpful, and fun ministries."  John Paul's campus ministry crew from the University of California at San Diego were wowed by the size and depth of the conference and enjoyed seeing their priest show off his moves.

Black & White is...

...Dominican friars John Paul Forte and Dominic DeLay, who share the music that brought them together and that has brought other black and white Americans together through the centuries.

A Friendship in Song CD...

...weaves the music together with the story of their faith and friendship. See the song list below.
